Jean-Luc Brassard is at Rouge National Urban Park, located in the heart of Toronto, Ontario. On the program: canoeing on the Rouge River, paddle boarding in Toronto's largest wetland, acoustic ecosystem monitoring and recreational fishing! The park's intention is to provide an experience for Canadians, and includes beach, forest and farmland alike. Jean-Luc explores a man-made pond, an artificial wetland that helps filter the runoff from a former landfill. He discovers archaeological digs, the behavior of frogs and the endangered Blanding's turtle.
