Parc national de Fundy, Nouveau-Brunswick

Jean-Luc Brassard sets out to discover the vast territory of Fundy National Park in New Brunswick. He explores the particular phenomenon of the tide and the resonance effect that produces the highest tides in the world. We are told the origin and meaning of the name “Fundy” and the history of the rock formations. Conservation of nature and culture, capacity building and sustainable development are the three objectives of this park. Biologists explain the salmon reintroduction work as well as the significant decrease in the population in recent years. Finally, Jean-Luc learns the history of Cap Enragé and does a rappelling activity on the rock face.
