In 1997, the village of Plantagenet became 'The Township of Alfred-Plantagenet', thus regrouping four municipalities. But the small community has not lost its sense of identity. Here, the people have kept their traditions, their rites and their customs, but more importantly, they have learned to renew them and give them a new lease on life.
