Tecumeh, once a thriving small town, has grown into an even more thriving small town, refusing to blend into the skyline of its two neighbouring cities, Windsor and Detroit. Its name, taken from the famous Shawnee native chief who fought the American invaders during the War of 1812, has surely inspired its French-speaking community to be more combative as well.
