In the 1970s, Lucille Bécigneul and her daughter Thérèse recall the time when their father and grandfather operated a vineyard in the Windsor area, shipping grapes to the United States and Quebec. Today, it is their descendants' turn to express their gratitude and recall the good memories. A daily life full of family values, a rich and fruitful territory, a welcoming land for the independent spirit, these are some of the factors that have inspired the community of the City of Windsor since the time of New France. People have come and still come from Europe, the southern hemisphere and the Orient to settle here in this region, on this piece of land between Lake Huron and Lake Erie.
