Cochrane

We are in a van with Donald Génier, on our way to the village of Génier, founded by his grandfather at the beginning of the twentieth century. Donald takes the opportunity to point out the changes that have taken place in the area. He says that the quality of life in Cochrane has improved in the last decade. We are in the music class at 'Le nouveau regard' high school where students with Angelo Paquette are rehearsing a show they are preparing for the holiday season. At the Cochrane Polar Bear Sanctuary, Patricia Morin prepares to feed these beautiful animals. The Tim Hortons Recreation and Leisure Centre has just opened its doors. Jean-Pierre Ouellette takes Donald and Raymond Génier on a tour of the facility and Huguette Perron does her research for an article on the center that she will write for the local newspaper.
